From the beginning




I’m Jacki and I have started many blogs over the years, but never figured out exactly what I wanted to do with them.  Thanks to an idea of a friend, I decided to set up a blog with tabs to cover the ideas I’m planning to write about.    I have no niche — I do all kinds of things.  I sell on eBay, I cook a bit, and I bump my head into everyday issues and frustrations that sometimes I just have to write about.

This is what I foresee for this blog — a little bit of everything.

I live in the desert in Southern California with my husband of 25+ years, and a  bunch of dogs & cats who command our attention.  He is retired, I’m still working (because, ahem, I’m younger than he is)  — currently as manager of  The UPS Store in town.

He loves sports and DirecTV and I love my computer, my new Palm Pre, and we both love our furkids.

Jeez, we sound boring, don’t we?

Jacki’s Kitchen – I’m no chef, but I try and I’ll be sharing the good, the bad, and the dog fodder.

Palm Pre – The new love of my life — a cell phone that is way smarter than I am.  I’m trying to conquer it — not an easy task.

What we sell Online - I sell on eBay, Bonanzle, and Amazon among other places.  Come take a look at some of our items.

Jacki (that’s me!) – This is where I’m going to try and post a daily blog about whatever tickles my fancy.
